Installation
SONSILL 156mm Redwood WPC Cladding boards install horizontally onto a prepared aluminium or galvanised steel post-and-rail fence frame, or onto a wall-mounted batten subframe for boundary wall cladding applications. For fence applications, fix vertical posts at 1800–2400mm centres and install horizontal rails at 400–600mm centres. Engage boards onto the rail system using a hidden clip fixing or face-fix stainless steel screws. For wall cladding applications, fix battens at 400–600mm centres onto the wall substrate and install boards horizontally using the same clip or screw-fix method. Maintain a minimum 10mm expansion gap at all board ends and perimeter junctions to accommodate thermal movement. Finish all exposed board ends with compatible SONSILL WPC redwood end caps.
